Heavy Tow Truck from Trusted Towing Company After Driver is Stranded for 2 Days
There is nothing more stressful than calling multiple towing companies for a heavy tow truck and not receiving any assistance. Unfortunately, this is what recently happened to a Peterbilt carrier driver in California.
The driver was completing a delivery of 8 brand-new Audi passenger vehicles. While driving on the I-5 in Yreka, CA, the motor of his vehicle went out. He was not able to continue to drive the vehicle and desperately needed the help of a professional towing company and a heavy tow truck.
He called multiple towing companies who were not able to come to his aid. Goodfellas Towing recently assisted a customer in California who was in need of a heavy tow truck. The Goodfellas dispatcher received the call from the customer who was stranded along the side of I-5 in Yreka, CA. The customer called in requesting a heavy tow truck for his 9-car Peterbilt carrier.
The driver had been driving along the highway carrying 8 brand new Audi passenger vehicles. Unfortunately, the motor went out and he was not able to continue to drive the vehicle. The truck driver knew that the only solution was a heavy tow truck.
He called several towing companies for a heavy tow truck. For some reason, none of the towing companies were able to assist with a heavy tow truck and the vehicle and driver ended up stranded on the road for 2 days.

The heavy tow truck crew had to be very careful with the car carriers because of the low clearance to the ground. To start their job, they first disconnected the drive line. Then, they inflated the suspension bags to prevent any secondary damage. From there, they connected to the axle and performed a frame lift.
